La primera actividad formativa ha sido a Irlanda, en concreto al “Trinity College”, donde un profesor de nuestro centro ha realizado un curso sobre la enseñanza y aprendidaje de una asignatura, por ejemplo Science, en inglés lo que se conoce como Aprendizaje Integrado de Contenidos y Lengua Extranjera (AICLE) ó Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) utilizando una metodología de aprendizaje investigativo. Los objetivos que se persiguen con CLIL son los siguientes:
- Presentar a los alumn@s nuevas ideas y conceptos en las asignaturas del curriculo.
- Mejorar el rendimiento de los alumn@s en ambas asignaturas.
- Incrementar su conocimiento cultural así como la seguridad en si mismos.
The first activity was in Ireland, in the Trinity College, where a teacher from our school did a course about teaching and learning of a subject, for example Natural Science, in English language. This is the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The main aim of CLIL methodology are:
- Introduce new ideas and concepts in the different subjects of the curriculum.
- Improve the results of the students in both subjects.
- Increase their cultural knowledge and the self confidence.
El curso dio comienzo el Lunes 27 de Julio hasta el viernes 7 de Agosto. Un total de doce días, con el fin de semana, durante los cuales se presentan estrategias y se realizan actividades grupales con el fin de presentar, en el aula, las lecciones o contenidos, integrando tanto la cultura del país como un vocabulario y expresiones que faciliten la comunicación a la vez que desarrollan habilidades cognitivas.
The course was from 27th of July to 7th August. Twelve days, including the weekend, during which teachers worked in groups with the aim to learn how to present in their classrooms, the lessons and contents, learning the culture of the country, vocabulary and expressions to improve the communication and cognitive abilities.
El programa promueve la dimensión Europea en Educación y ayuda a compartir la visión profesional entre docentes y la comunicación. También nos ayuda a adquirir una visión de la cultura irlandesa necesaria para el desarrollo de los contenidos que se presentan en clase a la vez que nos permite esparcirlos y/o dispersarlos tanto en la comunidad educativa como en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.
The program promotes the European dimension in Education and it helps to share the different points of view in Education of the teachers from other countries. It helps too to get a view of the Irish culture, necessary to develop the contents that we will present to our students. At the same time, it helps us along between the members of the educational community.
